Infinity

In the beginning there was nothing, and nothing “moved”. It is the infinite process of the Infinite constraining itself. It is as if a quality, a certain aspect of infinity was held back, was removed.[^10]
Although that is not how it is thought of exactly. It is more that the Infinite constrained itself (infinitely) till it became the smallest thing it could without losing itself—and that was a point. This is the tzimtzum, the indrawing of breath. Then, upon reaching the climax, it then expanded.
This collection of infinities we refer to as אור אין סוף, the first emergence, the highest level, known as Atzilut, for beyond this, there is nothing.
And here we encounter the paradox that in order for there to be an infinity, there must be finites. The only thing that is not infinite is the finite — which must separate itself from the infinite to be embodied.
For instance, every number possible can exist, There is no number that you can say is not possible. I can add as many digits as I want, ten, a hundred or a bizillion. They all exist. There is no censorship allowed here. And what about numbers are “irrational” like pi, or phi, or the natural logarithm? Ending eventually with numbers, like , the imaginary number, that don’t even really exist. May I be so bold as to ask whether we are named similarly to the numbers? This is based on the necessity to be named in order to be able to exist—just as for some mysterious reason, Adam had to name all the animals in our bible (Genesis 2:19).

Mathematically speaking, there is a one-to-one correspondence between all the real numbers between 0 & 1, and all the integers. In other words for every whole number there is a corresponding number less than one, and greater than zero. So, between 0 & 1 there is an infinity of numbers, that can be mapped to all whole nubmers that “exist”.
And between every real number, there is an infinite amount of irrational numbers, and so on…
